Leeann Minogue (Griffin, SK) is a playwright, a freelance writer, and a grain farmer in southeast Saskatchewan. Minogue’s plays, Dry Streak, Homecoming and Bloom, are comedies set in the daily life of rural Saskatchewan. These plays have been performed on professional stages, and in more than 25 amateur rural dinner theatres across the Prairies. Minogue is currently the editor of “Grainews”, a magazine for farmers, and is writing a regular series of short stories about a farm family in Country Guide. She serves on the board of Couteau Books, a Saskatchewan-based publisher, and as an active member of the Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre.
