Gino Levesque

photo: Aurélien Pallier-ColinotGino Levesque ( Charlevoix, QC) With an educational background in science, Gino Levesque invented a memory stimulator in the form of a best-selling novel titled Je ne le répéterai pas. This book has the distinction of containing nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives that are used only once. The eponymous film adaptation of the book was part of the official selection for the 2010 Montreal World Film Festival.

Levesque is also the prize-winning author of Il y a l’oubli and Eau claire du cristal (semi-finalist for CBC/SRC’s French-language story award in 2012). His latest publication is titled Imaginée naquit l’idée.

He is also the owner and director of a publishing company called Zus Publications.

Levesque is the Executive Director of the Francophone writers’ group of America (Les Écrivains francophones d’Amérique) since June 2014 and has been the president of the Quebec section of Les Écrivains francophones d’Amérique since June 2012.
